Understanding Sexual Orientation
What does "lesbian" mean?
A lesbian is a woman who experiences romantic and/or sexual attraction primarily or exclusively to other women. The term can also include non-binary individuals who connect with this identity.
Sexual orientation is a spectrum
Attraction isn't always black and white. Some people experience exclusive same-gender attraction, while others experience attraction to multiple genders. Both are valid, and your feelings may evolve over time.
You're not alone
Millions of people identify as lesbian, and there's a supportive community ready to welcome you. Whether you're sure of your identity or still exploring, you belong.
