What is the Cash Act 2020?

The Caring for Americans with Supplemental Help (CASH) Act of 2020 was a proposed amendment to increase the second round of COVID-19 stimulus payments from $600 to $2,000 per eligible adult and dependent.

Key Provisions

  • $4,000 payment for married couples
  • $2,000 for each dependent of any age
  • Same income limits and phase-out rules as previous acts

Eligibility Requirements

Phase-out Calculation

Payment reduces by $5 for every $100 of income above the limit:
