Next Birthday Countdown
Example: 25-Year-Old on Different Planets
How It Works
Earth Age: 25 years = 9,131 days lived
Mars: 9,131 ÷ 687 days/year = 13.3 Mars years
Jupiter: 9,131 ÷ 4,333 days/year = 2.1 Jupiter years
Mercury: 9,131 ÷ 88 days/year = 103.8 Mercury years
Fun Facts
• On Mercury, you'd have 103 birthdays by age 25!
• On Jupiter, you wouldn't reach your 3rd birthday until age 32
• On Neptune, your 1st birthday takes 164 Earth years!

Cool Planet Facts
Mercury has the most extreme temperature variations (-330°F to 800°F)
Venus is hotter than Mercury despite being farther from the Sun
Mars has the largest mountain in the solar system (Olympus Mons)
Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a storm larger than Earth
Saturn has 82 moons and spectacular rings
Understanding Planetary Ages
How Age Calculation Works
Your age on other planets depends on how long each planet takes to orbit the Sun. While you've lived the same number of Earth days, the number of "years" varies dramatically based on each planet's orbital period.
Why Orbital Periods Differ
- •Distance from Sun: Farther planets take longer to orbit
- •Gravitational Pull: Closer planets must move faster to avoid being pulled in
- •Kepler's Laws: Mathematical relationship between distance and orbital period
Calculation Formula
Planet Age = (Earth Days Lived) ÷ (Planet's Orbital Period in Days)
Example Calculation
Person: 30 years old on Earth
Days lived: 30 × 365.25 = 10,958 days
Age on Mars: 10,958 ÷ 687 = 15.9 Mars years
Age on Jupiter: 10,958 ÷ 4,333 = 2.5 Jupiter years
Fun Fact: If you're feeling old, celebrate your next birthday on Jupiter - you'll only have had about 2-3 birthdays there in your entire lifetime!
