How Video File Size is Calculated
Video file size depends on several key factors: resolution (width × height), frame rate (frames per second), color depth (bits per pixel), duration, and compression format. The basic formula for uncompressed video is:
File Size = Duration × Frame Rate × Frame Size
Frame Size = Width × Height × Color Depth ÷ 8

Factors Affecting File Size
