Calculation Steps
1. Total Time = (Distance × Split Time) ÷ 500
2. Total Time = (2000 × 94 seconds) ÷ 500 = 376 seconds
3. Power = 2.8 ÷ (Split Time ÷ 500)³
4. Power = 2.8 ÷ (94 ÷ 500)³ = 419 watts

Understanding Rowing Ergometers (ERG)
What is an Ergometer?
An ergometer, derived from Greek words "ergon" (work) and "metron" (measure), is an exercise machine that measures the work performed during exercise. In rowing, the ergometer (or "erg") measures the energy output while simulating the rowing motion.
